Who’s building Financy?
The Financy platform is being developed by a competent team of designers, developers and most importantly former educators and curriculum designers. Financy is a PublicSquare venture, a socially driven venture studio based out of Toronto, Canada.
Why are you building Financy?
In our world today, financial institutions benefit from our lack of understanding of financial tools and our education systems barely cover the basics, leaving most people (especially those in financially vulnerable situations to begin with) to make costly mistakes and often ending up in cycles of debt. As a social venture studio, our incubating team identified the connection between strong financial education at a young age and financial safety throughout one’s life, and hence, Financy was born.
